To fit I found it very good to use. it laid nicely and you can give it a good pull to keep it tight. if you need to redo a section then it easily unpeeles. I can't remember where I read it, but I thought the 'pro' way to do it was not to transition from the tape to the bar, but just to take the finishing tape right up to the edge of the bar tape, e.g. no finishing tape on the actual bar. It works for me (have wrapped several bars like this including double wrapped bars on my gravel bike) and it looks neater, easy enough to do, and maintains tension on the bar tape just fine. Gosh. A lot of you didn't spot the 2nd edition Di2 Sprint Shifters which are causing the problem... If the person who wrapped the tape in the photos is the same one bragging about doing his mates for beers, they must have low standards because that wrap round the lever in the side on picture is appalling! Don't crow about how good you are and then publically display that you're not as good as you think?

I'm not sure why so many cyclists seem to struggle with finishing tape. I see and hear very much the same regarding tennis grip finishing tape (which is very similar) and I've never had a problem using either and achieving excellent appearing results that stay in place until the grip needs replacing.
